Back in 2019, the two of us founded Hansa with a bit of my savings and a bit of Kuba's experience in clothing production. It couldn't possibly work, which is probably why it did. Oh well, so be it. The third to join us was my neighbour - Magda. Then Misia took over our neglected Instagram. Then Mateusz joined, the one who knows all about conversions and CPMs.

When designing, we've collaborated with genuinely talented people — Coxie, Bianka Szlachta, Marta Płusa, Magdalena Sawicka, melon, Zuza Bauer and Lidka MBL. We pack plastic-free, in paper only. We don't chuck any pointless bits into our parcels that just become more rubbish.
EU MATERIALS
We use only merino wool with a manufacturer's mulesing-free guarantee. We buy and dye our wool yarn in Italy. We use Polish cotton twill, and we source our corduroy from Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic.
WE SHARE THE PROFITS
Sometimes we still don't entirely know what we're doing, but we've been doing it for a good 7 years now. Something that was meant to be a bit of fun turned into a business, and nobody here can count yet, which can be a bit of a problem"
