Description
Hansa Wear docker hat (shallow, non-ear-covering) in merino wool. Color: mustard - saturated, juicy. A little like burnt sienna, but more golden, more luminous. One of our bestsellers. The woven label features an elegant Baltic herring.
Low-profile for adults — doesn't cover the ears. On children it sits lower and works perfectly as a beanie.
Made in Poland from 100% mulesing-free merino wool.
The yarn was sourced from Italy, where it was also dyed.
All garment elements, such as labels, were also made in Poland.
Dimensions:
flat height: approx. 14 cm
width at label level: approx. 20 cm
Composition: 100% mulesing-free merino wool
Merino wool offers the highest wearing comfort:
- suitable for year-round wear - it insulates when it's hot, warms when it's cold — seriously, that's how it works.
- excellent moisture absorption - it can absorb moisture equal to 30% of its own weight and still feel dry to the touch
- odor resistant - after a visit to a restaurant it won't smell like food, or will smell significantly less than hats made from other materials
Hand wash at 30°C and follow the instructions on the inner label, and it will serve you well for a long time.
We pack without plastic and don't add to your order all that stuff brands sometimes include, which most often immediately becomes another piece of waste. We believe less is more.
By buying our products you support the MARE Foundation, dedicated to education and protection of Baltic ecosystems.
Thanks to your purchases, we have contributed to the foundation: 35084.76 PLN (as of 01.03.2026).

We're too lazy to send it often - that's its great advantage.
And besides, if we ever run any deals, that's exactly where they'll be.
We share the profits:
Working
with the MARE Foundation
We support the MARE Foundation - which works to educate about and protect Baltic ecosystems.
Sometimes that's help with communications, sometimes we simply make a transfer.
Thanks to that, we've topped up the foundation's account with 35084.76 PLN so far (as of 01.03.2026). One person will say - not much, another will say - hardly anything. I'll say: in the early years our revenue was roughly 2 potatoes, so it's really OK .
By buying our stuff, you make it so we've got something to share. And when we do - we're glad to, because we reckon everyone should.
Various other things
we're proud of
EU materials - we use Italian wool yarns, and import our corduroy from Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic.
Local production - our products are made in Poland, in the Łódź, Mazovia and Lesser Poland provinces.
Our merino wool comes 100% from farms where the sheep aren't mutilated in the mulesing process.
We use recycled wool, including GRS-certified yarn.
We pack in paper, with no film, plastic or other faff that instantly turns into yet another bit of rubbish.
